What
teaches you during kickboxing classes?

During kickboxing training, you work on technique, fitness, and strength in one complete workout. You learn basic and advanced kickboxing techniques, such as punches, kicks, combinations, and defense. You then apply these in structured exercises. The training sessions are intensive but structured according to level, so both beginners and advanced participants can train safely.
Sparring can be part of the lessons, but is never compulsory. Those who prefer to train without sparring can focus entirely on technique, fitness, and strength. An average kickboxing training session consists of a warm-up, technical exercises, fitness and strength components, and a cool-down.

The difference between kickboxing and boxing

The difference is minimal, because the advantages largely overlap. Boxing is a contact sport in which you are only allowed to use your hands. This combat sport allows you to alternate between punching and defending. For this reason, you wear soft, round gloves when boxing.
During kickboxing, punching and kicking are permitted. This means you are constantly switching between punching, blocking, and kicking. These additional movements require quick reactions and the right protection. Kickboxers wear harder, more compact gloves and shin guards.

Youth kickboxing
We offer various classes for children aged six and above. During these classes, our professional instructors teach children the basic techniques of kickboxing. We provide a safe, fun environment in which to learn the sport and divide the groups according to skill level.
This way, children always train with children at the same level, which boosts their confidence and makes them feel safe.
Kickboxing fundamentals
Are you a beginner kickboxer or interested in getting started with the sport? Then sign up for our kickboxing fundamentals classes. During these classes, we will teach you the basic techniques of kickboxing and you will experience how much fun the sport is.
Together with our trainers, you will lay the foundation for advancing to become an advanced kickboxer in six intensive lessons.
