What is the
difference between boxing and kickboxing?

The difference between these two martial arts is already apparent in their names. In boxing, you may only use your fists to block and punch. Kickboxing , on the other hand, is a combination of punching, kicking, and blocking. You are more concerned with switching between attacking and defending.

The equipment also differs. Because you are only allowed to use your arms in boxing, you wear soft, round gloves. In kickboxing, you wear harder, often more compact gloves and shin guards to protect your shins when kicking.

LESSONS FOR BEGINNERS

We offer various boxing classes in Amsterdam spread throughout the week for different levels. For complete beginners, we offer various beginner boxing classes that teach you the techniques and basic principles of boxing. During these classes, you will improve your technique so that you can eventually move on to a higher level.

Sparring and bag training

Every week, we organize a sparring session for boxers of all levels. This is a good opportunity to measure your progress and see if you are ready for the next step. Anyone can sign up for this class.

We also offer punching bag training on various days. Punching bag training is a great way to improve your physical and mental health. It reduces stress and clears your head.
